Yes there is an Indian version I think there is also a American version as well, can't really remember though.

There are books others like which we do not like. I agree with you on that @Nomad. Like the books my nieces like which I do not like. They mostly like romances. I like to read suspense, and thrilling books with a plot and climax that stir my feelings.

During my college days, I was a die hard fan of Jane Austen. I have read all her books. Pride and Prejudice is one of the books that I have read a few times. Some classics are timeless and this is one of them. Recently, my elder daughter showed some interest in reading the old classics and she got this book.. I read it again during the lockdown period in the pandemic.
