The Passion of the Christ is a 2004 movie directed by Mel Gibson where Jim Caviezel plays the role of Jesus Christ. The movie shows last few days of Jesus Christ. This is one of the few movies that actually brought tears in my eyes. Even if you are not Christian, you will like this movie very much. The movie shows how the Christ endured pain during his last days. Seeing how they torture Jesus, put the crown of thrones, make him carry the cross across the hill and nail him on the cross, you cannot stop yourself from admiring Jesus.

That are the kind of movies that we keep watching during the Good Fridays and the Easter holidays for that matter. That's because as Christians we really believe in the Bible that Jesus was crucified on the Good Friday and resurrected on the Easter Monday. So his body stayed in the grave for like three days. Personally when l watch the movie l feel so filled with the spirit of God and being glad that my sins were cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ on the crucification of Jesus Christ on the cross. The movie is indeed very spiritual to me

The funny thing is that a few weeks back, I was actually thinking about rewatching the movie again. The first time I watched this movie I was still pretty young so I did not really understand most of the details.

It is a great movie and I have seen it, it is true that it depicts the last days of Jesus Crucified and what he went through in the hands of those who hated him and has a touching story and you would really feel the compassion for Jesus Christ and how he was tortured and eventually crucified.

The movie was also on some kind of controversy regarding the portrayal of Jewish people in the movie. Some hardliners even attacked Mel Gibson for his treatment of Jewish people in the movie. However, I did not find any thing that needs to be disputed in the movie. This movie is worth watching multiple times.

I really like the movie not because of being a Christian but because of the moral lesson that it gives to the viewers and the sacrifices of Jesus Christ for all the people. I always recommend this movie to my kids because I want them to know all about Jesus Christ.
